1. The contest is open to essays of any style and on any subject, but they must be between 500 - 1500 words in length.
  2. Contestants are not allowed to resubmit a previously submitted piece into the competition.
  3. Essays can be on any subject and in any style, but must be no more than 1500 words in length.
  4. Entries must be submitted in MS Word document and must not be formatted.
  5. All entries must be in English. No corrections can be made after receipt. Once submitted, entries cannot be withdrawn.
  6. Entrants must be contactable at the email address they provide at the time of judging. Winners who do not respond to email contact will still be pronounced winners but will forfeit their prize if they do not claim it within 30 days of the results being published.
  7. The judges' decision is final and no individual correspondence can be entered into.
  8. Prize winners will be notified by email once judging is complete. Judging will begin when the competition closes and may last several months.
  9. Entry implies acceptance of all the terms and conditions.
  10. The closing date for submissions is 21st June 2019.
