Prof. Adrian Roscoe
Currently teaching at Sultan Qaboos University, Professor Adrian Roscoe was educated in Britain and Canada. He has previously held Chairs of English in New Zealand, South Africa, and Malawi, and a Visiting Professorship in British and African Literature at the State University of New York. With interests in British and post-colonial literature and writing across the curriculum, his recent publications include The Columbia Guide to Central African Writing Since 1940 (ed. with Anthony Chennells), The Common Touch: Popular Literature from the Elizabethans to the Restoration (ed. with Paul Scanlon), and Methodologies for Teaching Writing in EFL and ESL Contexts (ed.with Rahma Al-Mahrooqi),
Dr. Janet Holst
Dr. Janet Holst from New Zealand, is an associate professor in the English Department at Sultan Qaboos University, where she teaches creative writing. She has worked in universities in NZ, England, Papua New Guinea, Singapore and South Africa. Her creative writing has been published in UK, Australia and New Zealand
Dr. Rahma Al-Mahrooqi
Dr. Rahma Al-Mahrooqi is an Associate Professor at the Department of English, Sultan Qaboos University, Oman. She holds a PhD in English and Communication Education from the University of Pittsburgh, USA. She has published widely on English language teaching in Oman. Her research interests focus on English language teaching with special emphasis on reading and literature, writing, and intercultural and cross-cultural communication.
