  1. The contest is open to articles of any style and on any subject, but they must be between 500 - 1500 words in length.
  2. Contents must be entirely the work of the entrant and must never have been published in a book, a magazine, a journal or periodical.
  3. Articles can be on any subject and in any style, but must be no more than 1500 words in length.
  4. All entries are to be accompanied by a short biography and photo of the writer in both digital and hard copy form.
  5. All entries must be in English and are to be submitted in digital form clearly marked and labeled with the contestant’s details.
  6. All entries must be in English. No corrections can be made after receipt. Once submitted, entries cannot be withdrawn.
  7. Entrants must be contactable at the email address they provide at the time of judging. Winners who do not respond to email contact will still be pronounced winners but will forfeit their prize if they do not claim it within 30 days of the results being published.
  8. The judges' decision is final and no individual correspondence can be entered into.
  9. Prize winners will be notified by email once judging is complete. Judging will begin when the competition closes and may last several months.
  10. All deadlines, including the closing date, date of announcement, etc. may be postponed by the organizers without notice or consultation in order to ensure enough time to raise sufficient revenue to cover costs.
  11. Entry implies acceptance of all the terms and conditions.
  12. The closing date for submissions is 15th April 2017.
